"West Camp ™" - the First Camp of English Language and the British Council in Uzbekistan together with the International Westminster University in Tashkent and the National education Ministry declare competition «School Composition».

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

This competition is spent among pupils state/private initial and high schools and students of 1st course of the academic lycées and professional colleges from any region of Uzbekistan.

WHAT IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE FOR PARTICIPATION?

It is necessary for participants:

To be registered on a site http://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/ or http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/ and to visit www.westcamp.uz;

The family Resume – the short description of all members of your family. In the free form, and it is whenever possible creative, tell about itself, about your parents, brothers and sisters and about other relatives with which together live, than are interested (hobby) and that you like to do together with all family. A resume format: no more 1ой pages А4 of a format and a family photo;

To write the Composition on a theme: «My Family and Sports». Tell to us as your family supports a healthy way of life and why it is necessary заниматся sports. You can consider the sports interests in a certain kind, describe as you it be engaged (go to sports hall, stadium, sports sections). Explain, how sports employment help, or can help to rally a family? The composition should be no more 1ой pages of format А4. 

Rules, instructions and recommendations about participation in competition:

Participants должныбыть as more as possible creative to use not sample subject line, application of the imagination, suitable illustrations and schedules only are encouraged;

The composition should be well structured, accurately issued, is easily read and to clearly reader. Work should have a good logic design and clear development of ideas. Besides, all rules of written speech (grammar, etc.) should be observed;

Parents insistently are recommended to take active part in development of ideas and a composition writing. However make sure that the help of parents does not surpass own diligence of the participant as the participant should prove the abilities under condition of passage of selection round;

All documents should have the title page with the name of work and a name of the author, the full mailing address, house telephone number, additional phone number of one of parents, the e-mail address and the name of sites on which you were registered;

All documents and records should be in format MSWord;

One attempt of delivery of the composition is authorised to each participant only. Please, send your work to the following electronic address: oybek.sobirov@gmail.com;

The made decisions of judges will be definitive and are not subject to revision;

All compositions should be written only in English and contain own ideas. The plagiarism meaning use literary and pieces of music of the third parties, images, thoughts and ideas of other authors without their written permission or the reference to the author will lead to an exception of participants;

Demands of all participants will be considered on the first round, and the best works will be admitted in 2ой round. During too time, work caused a stir on 1st round, but not typed there are enough points for adventure on the following level also will be noted and to 60 similar candidates will be rewarded by special gifts and special discounts in WestCamp ™;

Finalists of 2nd round will be invited to group interview with teachers МВУТ, experts from the British Council in Tashkent and Summer Camp of English language - "WestCamp ™”. All finalists will receive incentive discounts in camp, and winners will receive free permits for 1st season.

Deadline of delivery of the composition: on May, 25th, 2012.

Necessary remarks:

The organising committee does not undertake to return or remove your work after competition carrying out.
